 2022 Lionel Mandrillon (Ligue ARA)

« I started playing tennis at the age of 4, a sport I loved and which brought me a lot of satisfaction, until I tried padel in 2020. For three years, I tried to perform well in both sports. To no avail! As the months went by, I realised that padel would be my sport. My first selection for the French junior team in October 2022 to participate in the European Championships, followed by my meeting with Johan Bergeron in January 2023, convinced me once and for all: at the end of the season, I would put away my tennis rackets to devote myself exclusively to padel. »

 2024 Pierre Arnaud

« Padel, yes, but while keeping on studing at a traditional secondary school. It was a personal choice that meant I would have a busy but balanced schedule for two seasons, thanks to the flexibility of the All In Academy. Encouraged by my coaches, supported by my sponsor at the time, Head, and accompanied by my partners, my efforts were rewarded with impressive progress: ranked 271th st in France in September 2023, I reached the top 20 in July 2025. The results of these two years were more than positive, but if I wanted to take the next step and reach the highest level, I had to train more and play regularly at the international level. »

« Was I ready to take the plunge? Boosted by my results, encouraged by my partners, motivated by my coaches, supported by my family, my doubts faded away. But then, which organisation should I choose? The National Training Centre, a private academy or school at home? After careful consideration, I decided study at home and continue training at the All In Academy. Starting in September 2025, my new schedule should allow me to double my training sessions and compete more often abroad. See you in a year to find out if my decision has paid off. »
