Comments

When a visitor leaves a comment on the site, we collect the data displayed in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam. The site uses the Askimet anti-spam extension.

An anonymised string created from your email address may be provided to the Gravatar avatar centralisation service to check whether you use it. The Gravatar service's privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be publicly visible next to your comment.

Si vous utilisez le formulaire de contact pour m’envoyer un message, les informations saisies, nom, adresse email et message ne seront ni enregistrées, ni publiées, ni partagées. Cookies

If you leave a comment on the website, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These cookies are only for your convenience so that you do not have to re-enter them when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in exactly the same way as if the visitor had visited that other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Who do we share your data with?

The data provided when a visitor leaves a comment is only shared with the Gravatar avatar centralisation service and the Askimet anti-spam service.

Data transmitted via the contact form is not shared.

How long do we keep your data?

If you leave a comment, it and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to automatically recognise and approve subsequent comments, rather than leaving them in the moderation queue.

If you send me a message via the contact form, the information you enter is not stored, but only sent by email.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have left comments, you can request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of all personal data concerning you. This does not include data that we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where are your data sent?

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
